The Energy Innovation Bulletin's website

A bimonthly publication launched in 2019 and written by students at IFP School’s Energy Economics and Management Center, the Energy Innovation Bulletin analyzes the major economic, technological, and geopolitical challenges facing the energy sector.

The bulletin is part of the “Energy and Markets” and “Energy Technology Economics & Management” degree programs. Students are responsible for writing and publishing it with support from the center’s faculty.

For this 100th issue, Mattéo Berthet, Anastasia Ezeghian, Gabriel Franitch, Marc Iskandar, Jérémy Millet, and Mouhamadou Ndaw analyze how China has cushioned the impact of the Strait of Hormuz crisis on global oil markets.

The students also examine the effects of increasingly frequent heat waves on the French power grid.

Finally, they analyze why OPEC and the IEA hold radically different views on global oil demand by 2050.

Congratulations to our students on this excellent new issue!
